Hi all, I was just wondering what operating system you use on your PC? I use Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with SP1. I really like Windows XP. I have never had a problem with it yet. It boots up really quick, never hangs or freezes up on me. At least it hasn't yet. Hehe. ;D Cya all, ~Mr. Bone88

Win98SE on mine and WinME on wife's 'puter.... no problems at all with Outlaws on either. Except I can't get the MGL drivers to work. Wanted to see what that looks like.

I use WinME also. I tried WinXP ... but I seemed to be constantly fighting it .... I'd want to use one accessory, and it wanted to use something else. I'm sure that can all be set up as preferences, but when XP disabled my genealogy program (6 years of work in the database), that was the last straw. I use XP at work and have no problem with it, but derned if it will tell me what programs I can or can't use at home! LOL

Thanks again for your help. I nipped the problem trying to follow dogs advice. Evidentally, that particular command doesn't work with my version or disk. I did try to upgrade to the version I already had through the xp disc which check to make sure certain files were consistant and fixed whatever the problem was in microsofts own lightning quick speed of about an hour and a half .
