Hi everyone! Remember the good old days in High Noon? I know the game is on the old side now, but does that mean Outlaws has to die? I've been playing Outlaws since the day it came out. And I've been playing Outlaws on the Zone in High Noon since 1998. That's a long time! Yes, Outlaws is an old game and it seems like most people have moved on to newer games and forgot about Outlaws. Quite sad I think. I remember when there used to be 100+ people in High Noon and now we're lucky to hit 30. I miss all my friends that used to play and have left. You can play your newer games and still be devoted to Outlaws as well. I wish there was some way that we could contact all of the players that have left Outlaws and tell them to come back. Even though some people may be sick of Outlaws, how about their friends that still play? They seem to forget about Outlaws and their friends as well. Not right at all. Even if I wanted to take a break from Outlaws I would always come into High Noon to see my friends. Friendships mean a lot to me! I will continue to devote a lot of my time to Outlaws, High Noon and my friends! That's why I have my website and now this message board. I try to support Outlaws the best I can and always will. Lets not let Outlaws die! If you have friends that left Outlaws and High Noon tell them to get their butt back into High Noon! Hehe. I think if we can pull together we can once again have 100+ people in High Noon! It may take a lot of work, but I'm willing to do my part! Take care, ~Mr. Bone88

Howdy Bone, Yes I remember the old days of Outlaws in High Noon at the Zone. We have to realize we are dealing with an old game and also we are vastly different people playing together. I know for a fact the age differences can be pretty big, I have young players and lots of older players(like myself). But that we can put our differences aside and have fun together is the real fun of this old game. Also rowdy folks that like to cuss and flood and generally make a nuisance of themselves seems to sour some folks from coming to High Noon. And with the new prevalence of hacks, it is sometimes frustrating to play games in High Noon. Also it seems these young hackers like to boast and call folks names in and effort to draw attention to themselves. It seems to me this is actually a cry for help, and we should probably start a fund to get them the professional help they need! But even with these problems I still love to come to High Noon, see old friends, and have fun playing this game! And I for one and not going to let a few sorry individuals keep me from enjoying myself and having fun with my friends. One other thing, is that no matter how much fun this is real life still goes on and it requires more of our time than we might want to give to it. You gotta pay the bills and keep thee lights on. I thank you for your fine efforts and encourage you to keep with it!

Every so often I hear people saying OL is going away or dimishing. Especially, after my latest absence I like to think we are refined not dimished. I think those that would abandon OL for some of the newer and frankly impressive games have done so, most years ago. What OL is about for me is sitting down at the computer at 2 am and finding a friend in high noon. It is the common ground on which we all seem to be settled. The game is great. The OL community is greater.
ps I still miss those duke nukem parties in the garage though ;P
