First off I need more info. Is it for a map you are making? Were you hoping to make new graphics for the gun in your hand? That's a whole new bunch of work. If you were gonna use an Outlaws gun for the gun in your hand, that makes it a lot easier. Did you want it like a machine gun like in Dizzee? Did you want it to kill in one shot? Btw, the Dizzee gun is made to hit hard but not kill too quick.
Second, can't make it home in. Being a "machine gun" the Dizzee gun looks like it homes in but that's just auto-aim enabled.
Couple alternatives... If ya want a certain gun from a certain map, tell me and I'll get all the files ya need for that and all ya gotta do is plop 'em in your map. Theres some super pistols out there like in Huckle or Rampage. Check out Cartel or RogueCheddar. Check out the gun in Quake too. Check out Robots. You could take the pics from the Dizzee gun and re-paint them to the gun you want (lotsa work) and I could show ya how to adjust the power and stuff.
Third, my guns are not hacks, they are modified the legitimate way that Outlaws designed it to work for mapmakers making legitimate maps. If somebody tried to use them seperately in a game the "cheater checker" device wouldn't let them join, or if he was hosting, nobody could join him.
Don't think I'm thinking you wanna cheat with the gun, I just threw out that info for the general public, since we were on this subject.
How accurate ya make it and how much killing power ya make it have and how many shots come out the barrel per trigger pull and how much they spread... all that stuff is fine tuning that ya have to test several times against human players.

Sounds like a long range shotgun. Only problem with this is that close up, it would register 15 hits. The spread can be adjusted, but I don't think there is any way to make it spread at close range without becoming useless at long. Another possibility would be a weapon that basically fired a modified tnt charge. This would make the spread effect work over a wide target that is the same regardless of distance. Natch, the problem is the timing. Never looked at it before as to whether TNT can be made to explode on impact.

Yessir I came up against that and dealt with it to an extent in Robots. That map requires you learn the weapons, obviously too much hassle for the masses lol. One thing, if you make a super shotgun you better lower the MASS or else at close range ya get knocked too high into the stratosphere.
Never could make dynamite explode on impact.
You can make the unlit dyno hurt or kill you if it hits you, like a knife does... wanted to apply that to a rock throwing badguy so the rocks would hurt or kill you if they hit you. Have to make the rocks think they are dyno (I think, I don't remember offhand exactly what all I did, I was on the right track though). Might try it sometime. Although putting two dyno's in a map is tricky. They can't both be full fledged dyno's. For example one can be regular but the other one must be ground dyno only, not "pick-up-able". As far as I know. One could make a map where ya throw lethal rocks at each other. But if it's like a knife ya wouldn't get points for a kill from a thrown rock.

just a note one mods. all us oldtimers know whose mod it is we put out there. I just think it is nice to mention whose it is in the text file and give em some credit. Metallica made rampage a long time ago. I never see him under that name in the zone anymore and haven't seen him at all lately, but I did get his permission as a courtesy before tweaking and using his bufgun and of course sonic55 permission to fix los caza. A little mapmaking coutesy goes a long way with me. Have fun tweakin em it's addictive.

I never used anybodys mod gun, I make my own from scratch. But you are certainly right about giving credit where credit is due.
